This new style of malware is so bad, they have put a lot of effort into making the software look very professional and convincing.

The names can be a little different depending on the version of windows you have (Desktop Defender 2010, Total PC Defender 2010, Personal Defender 2009, Perfect Defender 2009, and so on....) so we need to be extra careful.

If you have an annoying program that keeps popping up and warning you have a virus, trojan horse or something else. see if you can get into you anti virus software or windows firewall. I have noticed that the affected computer will not be able to access even windows firewall.

The good news is there are lots of tutorials on how to remove this pesky software and the easiest way is to us a program called MalwareBytes.

you can find it here this is the latest free version which is good enough to remove the program.
